Passphrase Generator

Passphrase Generator creates strong, memorable passphrases by combining random common words — like "correct-horse-battery-staple". Passphrases are both more secure than typical passwords (due to length) and easier to remember than random character strings.

The Diceware concept — picking words randomly from a large wordlist — is endorsed by security researchers and the EFF as the best balance of security and memorability. A 4-word passphrase from a 7,776-word list has 51+ bits of entropy.

Configure the number of words, separator character, and whether to add a number or capital letter for services that require them.
